This demonstration uses software located on the web server to store and display live data received via SMS from a device measuring temperature in Advanced Information Networks' Christchurch office.
Temperatures are logged and sent to the web using Advanced Information Networks'
XE-8000 SMS Controller. The XE-8000 SMS Controller is a
communications device that connects to a GSM modem to allow
wireless remote and mobile Data Acquisition, Monitoring and Control
via GSM Networks. The device can be configured from the web and log
data back to a web based database.
